Short version: the free label maker needs no account and no card, and your recipes stay in your browser.
What we collect
- Recipes and records. Stored in your browser on your device. We do not receive them.
- Email, if you give it. When you join the waitlist or subscribe, we keep your email and the plan you picked so we can write to you about it.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. We receive your email, plan and subscription status.
- Basic usage events. We count things like a label being made, using PostHog, to see what works. We do not record sessions, and we do not send your recipe text or email in these events.
- Ingredient lookups. The ingredient name you search is sent to USDA FoodData Central to fetch its record.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data and we do not run ads.
Who else sees it
Our service providers only, to run the site: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and storage), PostHog (usage counts), and USDA FoodData Central (ingredient data).
Your choices
To see, correct or delete the email we hold, write to support@batchfacts.com and we will do it. Subscription records may be kept as long as tax and payment rules require.
